Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Al Asimah, Kuwait for a Senior Procurement Officer. The Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible for overseeing the procurement activities, managing purchase orders, negotiating contracts with suppliers, identifying cost-saving opportunities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and maintaining accurate records. This role involves working closely with vendors, supervising purchasing processes, and analyzing procurement trends to optimize operations and support company objectives.


Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Procurement, Purchasing, and managing Purchase Orders
  • Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and vendor management
  • Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating procurement data and market trends
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, practices, and compliance regulations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage procurement teams effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience in the construction or trading industry is an advantage
