Role: Senior Procurement Specialist


As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires strong analytical skills, market awareness, and a proactive approach to procurement challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing new vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Assist in vendor onboarding, including documentation, compliance checks, and contract setup.
  • Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs).
  • Evaluate offers and summarize bids for decision-making.
  • Update vendor databases and price lists regularly.
  • Maintain and update the approved vendor database.
  • Track vendor performance and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Coordinates with the suppliers/vendors to ensure that the specifications required in the orders are met.
  • Updates item code listing in the Oracle System for proper identification of Purchase Requests.
  • Ensure vendor contracts comply with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor contract validity periods and initiate renewals or re-negotiations as needed.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities with accurate procurement data.
  • Monitor spend analysis, compliance tracking, and contract utilization.
  • Use ERP systems to extract data and generate dashboards or summaries for management.


Qualification: -

  • Degree in Business Management, Communications, Office Administration or equivalent
  • 4-6 experience in the field, preferably half of them in the same or like industry
  • Strong knowledge of all the Procurement and Quality processes that service the Restaurant Business, high business acumen, customer service excellence, stakeholder management, high communication skills and be process and task orientated.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office applications and Oracle Financial System
  • Thorough understanding of procurement trends
  • Strong understand of Retail or Hospitality
