We are building the world’s largest plant to produce green ammonia at scale, providing humankind with a cost-efficient solution that will accelerate the worldwide green hydrogen economy. Located in NEOM and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, NGHC will be integrating up to 4GW of onshore solar and wind energy to supply up to 650 tons of green ammonia per day for transportation globally. Operations will go onstream in 2026. JOB DETAILS

Division: Supply Chain

Reports To: Procurement Manager

Liaise/Cooperate With: Vendors, Internal end user, Finance, Cross functional collaboration, and Shareholders Procurement Team.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position manages supplier relationships and implements procurement strategies to support and ensure alignment with company strategy and goals. This role challenges technical specifications, commercial practices, operating practices, and business processes with a focus on driving cost-effective solutions. Strong planning, project management, cost control, sourcing, communication, time management and negotiating skills are required.

NATURE & SCOPE

The Procurement senior Specialist is responsible for developing, negotiating, implementing, and maintaining competitively advantageous supply strategies to improve NGHCs competitiveness, A key element of this role will be to source suppliers and contractors who can contribute to NGHCs local content plan.

This individual will be responsible to conduct competitive bidding and will develop category volume forecasts based on inputs from the business and functional areas, this individual will also be responsible for managing all aspects of supplier performance, including on-time delivery and quality. This individual will be responsible for participating in supplier audits and resolving non-conformances.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

1. Embody NGHC core values of Safety, People, Technology, Innovation, and Sustainability.
2. Prepare and issue inquiries and purchase orders according to the manufacturing schedule (ERP-driven) and requisition-driven on long lead items.
3. Lead negotiations with suppliers to obtain globally competitive pricing, delivery, and contract terms.
4. Lead and manage supplier qualification audits and continuous improvement efforts.
5. Participate in the development of procurement strategies and budgets.
6. Maintain ERP data integrity and communicate exceptions that may impact the production schedule.
7. Document bid tab evaluations and sole source justifications.
8. Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to mitigate delivery risk, including:

• Driving urgency to resolution and effective communication.
• Leading timely resolution of escalated supplier issues by facilitating meetings with technical/operations teams.

1. Liaise frequently with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Design departments.
2. Track and manage supplier quality and performance metrics.
3. Maintain commercial interfaces with suppliers.
4. Manage warranty claims, back-charges, and liquidated damages.
5. Identify, assess, and plan for supply chain risks (sole-sourced materials, long lead times, etc.).
6. Participate in the new product development process and consult as a subject matter expert regarding commodities, costs, lead times, and risks.
7. Monitor, communicate, and respond to changing market conditions and business drivers to maximize leverage and minimize risk.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, in Engineering or Business Management or equivalent job experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in Procurement, Technical, Engineering, Commercial or Project environment.
• Knowledge of commercial purchasing procedures and practice, including aspects of negotiation and contract law.
• Familiarity with SAP.
