About UptimeAI
UptimeAI builds AI-driven solutions that reduce downtime and improve efficiency for industrial clients. We combine advanced AI/ML with deep subject-matter expertise to connect upstream/downstream behavior, adapt to change, pinpoint issues early, and provide prescriptive, explainable recommendations.
Role Summary
Lead the strategy and delivery of
operator-assist AI agents
that reduce cognitive load, accelerate decision-making, and improve reliability/throughput. You’ll partner with Data Science/ML, Engineering, Design, and SMEs to ship
safe, measurable
AI capabilities grounded in plant workflows and industrial data.
What you’ll build
-
Ask & Explain Agents
– NL answers with citations to plant data/knowledge.
-
Detect & Triage Agents
– Prioritize signals, cluster issues, surface “what first” with rationale.
-
Diagnose & Advise Agents
– Hypotheses, likely causes, and safe next steps with evidence trails.
-
Optimize & Plan Agents
– Suggestions for run-windows, guardrails, or maintenance planning.
-
Automate & Document Agents
– Draft shift notes/reports, pre-fill tickets—always human-in-the-loop.
-
Learn & Improve Agents
– Capture operator feedback and post-event learnings under governance.
-
Principles:
explainability, role-based access, auditability, human confirmation
before actions.

retrieval & evaluation
(offline/online), quality bars (task success, time-to-answer), and
safety
(hallucination gating, RBAC/ABAC, audit).
-
Define data needs across
time-series, events/alarms, asset hierarchies, procedures/docs
; guide pragmatic integrations (historians, SCADA/MES, CMMS/EAM).
-
Drive
pilots via feature flags
, scale what works, publish internal playbooks and customer-approved case studies.
-
Support GTM with value narratives (noise↓, MTTR↓, throughput/energy↑) without disclosing feature roadmaps.
Qualifications
Required
-
7–12 years
in Product Management, including
3+ years
shipping AI/ML or GenAI experiences (assistants, retrieval/RAG, agentic workflows)
in production
.

Industrial/process domain fluency in
Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Chemicals
(reliability, predictive maintenance, maintenance operations).
-
Data/platform literacy: time-series historians,
events/alarms
, asset models; familiarity with
SCADA/MES
and
CMMS/EAM
concepts.
-
Proven collaboration with DS/ML on prompts/retrieval design, evaluation datasets, online experiments, and safety/guardrails.
-
Enterprise SaaS delivery: discovery → PRD → beta → GA; adoption instrumentation and outcome metrics.
-
Excellent communication; track record driving cross-functional alignment with Eng/DS/Design/GTM and customers.
Preferred
-
Experience with
digital twins
, 2D/3D/P&IDs, or asset-centric search.
