Acceptance & Payments Proposition Strategy

Define and execute the business-side strategy for merchant acceptance and payment solutions aligned with NeoBiz objectives.

Ensure propositions meet segment needs (Micro SE, SE, ME Mass, ME) and drive deposit growth and fee income.

Benchmark against market trends and competitor offerings to identify innovation opportunities.
Business Ownership of Acceptance & Payments Propositions

Own the end-to-end setup and strategic direction of merchant acceptance and payment propositions for business segments.

Define, structure, and continuously refine these propositions to ensure alignment with NeoBiz’s business objectives and revenue targets.

Act as the primary business authority in product squads, ensuring all deliverables reflect the defined proposition strategy and meet KPIs.

Champion business priorities by translating strategic requirements into actionable features and validating outputs against commercial goals.
Revenue & Monetization

Develop pricing strategies for acceptance and payment solutions to maximize profitability.

Drive fee income growth through innovative propositions and bundled offerings.
Customer Experience & Engagement

Ensure acceptance solutions deliver seamless onboarding and usage experience for merchants.

Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to promote solutions and gather feedback.
Market & Competitive Analysis

Conduct ongoing research on merchant acceptance trends, payment rails (Raast, QR, POS, cards), and competitor strategies.

Adjust propositions based on market shifts and customer needs.
Risk & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure all acceptance and payment propositions comply with SBP regulations and internal policies.
- Manage operational and financial risks associated with acceptance solutions.
Key Result Areas

Launch merchant acceptance and payment propositions for targeted business segments.

Drive merchant activation and transaction volume growth across acceptance channels.

Achieve fee income and deposit inflow targets linked to acceptance solutions.

Ensure timely delivery of business requirements to product squads and successful go-to-market execution.

Monitor KPIs such as merchant onboarding, transaction volumes, and customer engagement metrics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, and technology, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for specific CVPs.

Manage multiple projects, product owners and engineering squads for CVP bundling

Ensure product roadmap across squads is aligned with business strategy

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum 8 years of experience in business banking, merchant acceptance, and digital payments.

Strong understanding of payment and acceptance solutions including Raast, POS, SoftPOS, payment gateways, QR-based acceptance, and acquiring models.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions.
-
In-depth knowledge of SBP regulations and compliance requirements for payments and acceptance.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability.
