JOB PURPOSE:
Job Summary: Perform production and qualification activities for additive manufacturing and CNC machining from prototype to series production. Ensure stable, safe, and efficient processes and qualify AM processes and products in line with national and international standards and regulatory requirements for several industries (e.g. Aerospace, Energy, medical)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Plan and optimise AM and CNC workflows, layouts, and resources to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Own and maintain relevant production and maintenance procedures; support daily coordination of AM and machining activities.
- Plan, execute, and document qualification of AM processes and products (e.g., BPQ/PQ, IQ/OQ/PQ, FAI/PPAP) following ISO/ASTM, AMS, DNV, aviation, and other applicable standards
- Coordinate mechanical, metallurgical, NDT, and dimensional testing with internal lab and external vendors; compile qualification reports and data packs for customers and authorities.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE and QMS requirements; review QC results, address non-conformities, and support internal/external audits.
- Analyse production and quality KPIs; drive Lean / Six Sigma improvements to increase OEE and reduce scrap and lead time.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance planning for AM and CNC assets, including critical spares and ERP planning.
- Contribute to project estimates (build strategy, machine time, material usage, post-processing) and EBOM/estimation sheets.
COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
- Work closely with Design/Application Engineering, QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HSE to industrialise and qualify products.
- Provide technical guidance and training to engineers, technicians, and operators; report KPIs, risks, and improvement actions to management.
External:
- Liaise with OEMs, external labs, partners, and certification / regulatory bodies on technical issues, qualifications, and audits.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, or Aerospace Engineering Preferred: Master’s Degree
Experience:
- 6+ years in production/manufacturing engineering with strong hands-on experience in metal AM and/or CNC machining, including proven process/product qualification to recognised international and national standards in high-integrity industries
Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Sales negotiation and closing skills. • Customer relationship management.
- Good understanding of dental products and market trends.
- Time-management and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Valid UAE driving license.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- In-depth knowledge of metal AM (e.g., PBF), including heat treatment, HIP, finishing, and inspection.
- Familiarity with ISO/ASTM AM standards and key specs (e.g., ASTM F3055, ISO/ASTM 52904, AMS, DNV/FAA/EASA).
- Proficient in CAD/CAM, build prep, ERP, SPC, FMEA, control plans, and structured problem solving.

WORK CONDITION:
Physical Effort
- Regular shopfloor presence; moderate activity during inspections and troubleshooting.
Work Environment
- Office, AM hall, and machining workshop with exposure to powders, gases, and rotating equipment; strict PPE and safety compliance required.
