About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Control Senior Specialist to drive cost control, financial tracking, and overall project performance across high value projects.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered within budget and aligned with schedule and performance targets through accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Control and Financial Management
Develop and manage project budgets, cost baselines, and cash flow forecasts
Track project expenditures and commitments against approved budgets
Perform cost variance analysis and identify corrective actions
Support forecasting and financial performance tracking throughout the project lifecycle

Project Performance and Reporting
Prepare project control reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
Provide actionable insights to support project decision making
Monitor overall project performance across cost and schedule dimensions

Change and Risk Management
Evaluate cost impact of variations, changes, and claims
Support change management processes and ensure proper cost alignment

Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with project managers, planners, procurement, and finance teams
Ensure alignment across cost, schedule, and scope
Maintain accurate project data, coding structures, and reporting systems

Governance and Compliance
Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies
Support continuous improvement of project control processes and frameworks

Required Skills and Expertise
Strong experience in project cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
Solid understanding of project controls principles including cost and schedule awareness
Experience with tools such as Excel, ERP systems, and Primavera P6 or similar
Knowledge of Earned Value Management EVM is a plus
Understanding of project lifecycle, financial controls, and change management

Background in large scale or high value projects such as construction, infrastructure, or energy
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work cross functionally and influence project outcomes

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR25,000.00 - QAR32,000.00 per month
