A senior project coordinator in construction manages complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams like clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, as well as preparing project documents, monitoring progress, and acting as a key liaison to keep projects on track. Key responsibilities include project planning, budget control, and ensuring projects adhere to all plans and regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Project execution: Ensure successful and timely delivery of complex projects by monitoring progress against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Act as a central point of communication between various stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain all essential project-related documents, such as correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports.
  • Budget and resource management: Monitor and manage project budgets and resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial plans.
  • Risk management: Monitor project risks and help implement mitigation strategies.
