Sr. Project Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure (PEC Registered)

Key Responsibilities
Roads & Infrastructure Execution
- Supervise construction of all internal/external roads including subgrade, sub-base, WMM/WBM, asphalt works, curbstones, and stormwater channels.
- Manage execution of underground utilities including sewerage, stormwater, water supply, and electrical ducts.
- Monitor levels, compaction, camber, slopes, and drainage systems using field testing and survey controls.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for material approvals, testing, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with design drawings, BOQs, and engineering standards (WASA/NHA/municipal codes).
Site Development Works
- Supervise construction of parks, green belts, entrance gates, fountains, monuments, footpaths, and recreational areas.
- Oversee infrastructure for mosques, community centers, and security facilities.
- Coordinate finishing elements such as walkways, benches, lighting poles, landscape grading, and irrigation lines.
Buildings & Structural Components
- Supervise execution of RCC works including foundations, columns, slabs, block masonry, and finishing activities for on-site buildings.
- Liaise with structural consultants and architects for implementation accuracy.
Project Coordination & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports (DPRs), work schedules, and material tracking sheets.
- Verify contractor bills and quantities based on site execution.
- Manage multiple subcontractors and teams for timely task completion.
- Ensure safety standards, proper housekeeping, and organized site workflow.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical/site issues.
Requirements
- BSc Civil Engineering (PEC registration mandatory)
- 5–10 years of proven experience in roads and infrastructure works, preferably in housing society development.
- Strong knowledge of road construction, underground utilities, and community infrastructure.
- Experience supervising RCC and structural works for public and community buildings is an advantage.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and site documentation.
- Capable of managing multiple contractors and diverse field teams.
- Sound understanding of local engineering codes and safety standards.
