POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role on the Agile Delivery Management Team, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and deliver measurable value. This role is responsible for turning strategy into results — creating clear project plans, driving execution, and ensuring deliverables meet expectations for quality, timeliness, and business impact.
Working closely with cross-functional teams — including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, Finance, and external vendors — the Senior Project Manager keeps initiatives on track, removes blockers, and ensures all stakeholders have transparency into progress and outcomes. With experience in Agile practices, this individual emphasizes iterative delivery, continuous improvement, and tangible results, ensuring that every project contributes meaningfully to organizational goals.

Location: Onsite two days a week, if you live within a 45-mile radius of the Houston headquarters. Remote for those outside of the Houston metropolitan area.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Execution & Delivery
- Develop clear and actionable project plans with defined goals, timelines, and success metrics.
- Drive day-to-day project execution, ensuring teams deliver high-quality results on schedule.
- Track progress against objectives, identifying risks early and proactively resolving issues.
- Ensure projects deliver business value by aligning outcomes with strategic goals.
Agile Leadership
- Apply Agile principles to enable iterative delivery, continuous feedback, and adaptability.
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies as needed.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align priorities and expectations.
- Provide clear, transparent, and regular status updates to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure strong communication between internal teams and external vendors, driving alignment on deliverables.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor and report on key delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, defect rates, etc.).
- Maintain documentation and reporting to support knowledge sharing and auditability.
- Contribute to the refinement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years in Agile delivery environments.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and ability to apply them pragmatically.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience managing external vendors and partners is a plus.
- PMP, CSM, or other Agile certifications preferred.
- Experience working in EdTech is a plus.
