We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager – MEP to lead and manage all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and ELV aspects of large-scale commercial, hospitality, and interior fit-out projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Execution
- Lead the full cycle of MEP project delivery—from planning, design coordination, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Ensure MEP works meet approved drawings, specifications, authority regulations, and project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and technical compliance.
Technical Leadership & Design Coordination
- Review, interpret, and validate MEP drawings, load calculations, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Coordinate with design consultants, clients, architects, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Oversee value engineering proposals to improve efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure all design changes, revisions, and RFIs are properly managed and documented.
Procurement, Cost & Commercial Control
- Identify material and equipment requirements and coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing.
- Review and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and technical submissions.
- Monitor project budgets, cost variances, and forecast expenditures.
- Ensure accurate tracking of materials, equipment installation, and subcontractor progress.
MEP Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Manage and supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site teams.
- Ensure that all installations follow project QA/QC standards and authority guidelines such as QCD, Kahramaa, QCDD, and Ashghal.
- Lead testing and commissioning activities for all MEP systems.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical site issues and workmanship deficiencies.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit progress reports, schedules, material logs, and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test reports, approvals, and project correspondence.
- Coordinate final project documentation including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and commissioning reports
HSE Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies, safety procedures, and risk control measures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and ensure safe execution of all MEP activities.
Project Close-Out & Handover
- Oversee the completion of snagging, rectification, and final testing.
- Ensure successful handover of all MEP systems and secure completion/authority certificates.
- Manage defect liability period issues and ensure timely resolution.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong technical expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, ELV).

Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess deep technical knowledge, excellent project leadership capabilities, and proven experience managing complex MEP installations from design to handover. Strong Middle East experience is mandatory, with the ability to deliver projects within cost, time, and quality objectives.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 15-20 years of MEP construction experience, in fit-out projects.
- At least 5 years in a senior/lead project management role.
- Extensive Middle East experience is mandatory.
- Experience in commercial, hospitality, and high-end interior fit-out projects.
Certifications
- PMP, CEng, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
- Valid driving license mandatory.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, firefighting, ELV, and building services.
- Familiarity with QCDD, Kahramaa, Ashghal, and local authority approval workflows.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project planning tools (Primavera/MS Project).
