Job Description

The Ford Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Proposal Manager to join the Corporate Business Development team of a leading international law firm. This individual will work closely with partners and senior stakeholders to craft compelling, customized proposals and pitch materials for M&A, Securities, and Capital Markets practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong writing, project management, and client service skills, along with an understanding of transactional work and how corporate practices collaborate across the firm.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop pitches, proposals, and RFP responses for corporate and transactional matters
  • Draft, edit, and maintain content for pitch decks and proposal materials
  • Develop and manage a library of experience materials, client lists, and matter descriptions
  • Coordinate input from partners and business development colleagues to ensure persuasive and consistent deliverables
  • Track proposal activity and outcomes
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • Business development experience in a law firm or other professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, M&A, and other transactional practices
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); CRM experience preferred

Candidates for this position must be based in the DC or NYC area or have independent plans for relocation.
