Senior Purchase Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional responsible for the development of new and existing suppliers and products. The role involves close coordination with suppliers engaged in Machining (CNC & Conventional), Fabrication, and Ready Bought Outs (both MNC and local vendors).

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier & Product Development:

• Develop and qualify new suppliers and continuously improve existing ones.

• Manage product development activities across machining, fabrication, and ready bought-out categories.

Performance & Quality Management:

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to company quality standards.
• Resolve quality and delivery-related issues promptly.
• Ensure suppliers comply with company requirements and specifications.

Cost Control:

• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and value engineering projects.
• Analyze purchase history and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate sound understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure supplier capability and product feasibility.

Software Proficiency:

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and other standard office software.

Negotiation & Communication Skills:

• Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable terms and maintain supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

Organizational Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
