As a Senior Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services that directly support our business operations. The range of pay for this roll is $69,000 to $80,000 annually.

How You Will Make a Positive Impact:

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to support business goals.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to forecast demand.
  • Monitor and manage procurement KPIs, including cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Resolve supply chain issues and mitigate risks related to procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.

The Value You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of procurement or buying experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft AX preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier facilities (less than 10%).

Preferred:

  • Experience with international sourcing, global supply chains, lean manufacturing, and just-in-time (JIT) principles.
  • Supporting certification in procurement or supply chain (CIPS, CPM, or equivalent), preferred
