Senior QA Engineer

Job Description:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and report defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our QA processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process.
• Conduct manual testing as needed to validate the functionality and usability of applications.
• Perform regression testing to verify that new features and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Document test results, defects, and other relevant information in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on testing best practices and methodologies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on web or mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in iterative development environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹53,000.00 per month
