Senior QC Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior QC Engineer (Mechanical) with 10+ years of experience in mechanical quality control within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPC sector.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in desk-based QC documentation, inspection coordination, and technical compliance review for mechanical equipment and packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform desk-based QC activities for mechanical equipment and packages
• Review and approve ITPs, WPS/PQR, inspection reports, material certificates, and QA/QC documentation
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards
• Coordinate with site inspectors, vendors, and engineering teams
• Monitor quality activities related to:
• Pumps and valves
• Skids and piping systems
• Pressure vessels and static equipment
• Flare systems and firefighting packages
• Review NDE and welding inspection reports
• Support E&I-related tasks when required
• Maintain accurate documentation control and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10+ years of QC/QA experience in oil & gas, EPC, or heavy industrial projects
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
• Pumps, valves, skids, piping systems
• Pressure vessels and static equipment
• Flare systems and firefighting systems
• Familiarity with E&I coordination (preferred)
• Certification in NDE, Welding Inspection, and Painting/Coating Inspection (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO)
• Excellent documentation review and reporting skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
