Role Purpose
To ensure the implementation of the company’s quality standards and project specifications through systematic inspection, testing, and documentation across all construction activities. The Senior Quality Control Engineer plays a key role in ensuring compliance, preventing rework, and promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Key Accountabilities

Supervise and perform inspections of site works, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Prepare and review quality control documentation, including ITPs, checklists, and material approvals.

Coordinate with construction teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.

Monitor and verify that all materials and equipment used meet project quality standards.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances.

Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality control records, test reports, and NCRs.

Support internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings.

Participate in the development and implementation of quality training programs.

Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale projects.

Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, international codes, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ACI, ASTM).

Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.

Experience with quality management systems and inspection tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-related software.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, PMP, CQE) are a plus.
