Education:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or related field.

Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in QA/QC roles (preferably in waterproofing or construction chemicals).

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Quality Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in waterproofing, construction chemicals, or industrial coatings. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality standards, supervising site inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications, and providing technical support related to waterproofing systems.

Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement QA/QC procedures across project lifecycle.
• Prepare and execute Quality Control Plans (QCP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements.
• Review material certifications and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, manage NCRs, and prepare QA reports.
• Coordinate testing (in-house & third-party) and maintain quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IS, ASTM, EN, and BS standards.

Waterproofing System Expertise

• Assess sites to identify water ingress risks and failure points.
• Recommend and approve suitable waterproofing systems (PU, cementitious, acrylic, bitumen-based, hybrid).
• Verify material compatibility and application methods before execution.
• Supervise installation practices as per manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Support inspection, performance evaluation, and corrective actions for defective systems.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients for quality approvals and documentation.

Training & Process Improvement

• Conduct training sessions for site teams and internal departments.
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support design team with quality-driven technical inputs and methodology recommendations.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems and material compatibility.
• Hands-on experience in QA documentation, inspections, audits, and testing.
• Familiarity with IS, ASTM, EN, BS standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS is an added advantage.
