Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in housing and infrastructure projects. The role requires expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract management, and financial control for large-scale real estate and housing developments. The candidate should be able to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents for housing and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
• Evaluate and certify contractor bills, claims, and variations.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and timelines to ensure financial control.
• Assist in procurement and contract negotiations with vendors and contractors.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project cost reports.
• Liaise with consultants, site engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment on costs and scope.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior QS staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in housing societies, infrastructure, or real estate projects.
• Strong expertise in cost control, BOQ preparation, and contract administration.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., Candy/Primavera).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
