Senior Quantity Surveyor

Ain Consulting Engineers (ACE) is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Egypt.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent the main office in all Cost Control-related matters for the project and maintain continuous coordination with the Head Office in UAE.
• Coordinate with subconsultants, Architectural, Structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure that the design and all project aspects comply with the allocated project budget through all design stages and up to project awarding.
• Prepare and review the Takeoff Calculation for the Quantities of materials using different software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AutoCAD ,and Cost X (Mandatory).
• Prepare and review BOQ according to international standards such as POMI, NRM2, CESMM3, etc.
• Preparation and review of Cost Estimates / Feasibility Study and cost control measures.
• Dealing with Value Engineering solutions and Cost-Cutting Items.
• Preparing and reviewing Tender documents, including Specifications review and Manufacturer List.
• Reply to tenderers’ RFI and prepare tender addenda.
• Review specifications
• Attend meetings and discuss project details with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Perform other tasks given by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• 10 years and above with a Similar nature of projects and an international consultant.
• Strong knowledge of international standards for quantity surveying and cost control.
• Strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in cost analysis, material selection, and value engineering.
• Using different types of software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AutoCAD ,and Cost X (Mandatory).
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
