Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Chss. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and financial management of construction projects from inception through to completion.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong consultancy background to support road and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of projects from pre-contract through post-contract stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quantity surveying and cost consultancy services for road and infrastructure projects
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, and tender documentation
• Manage pre-contract and post-contract activities, including procurement and contract administration
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and final accounts
• Advise clients on cost planning, value engineering, and risk management
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions and industry standards
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
• Prepare regular cost reports and financial forecasts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• MRICS qualified (mandatory)
• Proven consultancy experience
• Strong experience in road and infrastructure projects
• Excellent knowledge of contracts, cost management, and commercial practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure programs
• Familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract forms
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
