Senior Relationship Manager - Large corporate

Job Purpose / Role:

The job holder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned clients. The position requires strong relationship management and analytical skills.It entails significant interactions with large corporate and multinational organizations, monitoring the quality of the assigned credit portfolio and ensuring all processes are functioning properly in compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

The position requires developing detailed client relationship plans, implementing calling programs and achieving annual targets.In addition, the job holder will actively participate in business development activities and in sales leads identification. The position requires team playing abilities, strong client relationship management and analytical skills.


Areas of responsibility:

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
  • Builds relationships with large corporates, multinationals, and joint-stock companies that are buyers of financial services through visits to major prospects and existing customers.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of customer’s organization, industry and global practices to maintain proximity to the clients and meet their banking needs and expectations.
  • Identifies revenue opportunities to actively sell Corporate Banking products to government customers in order to support the sales targets
  • Maximizes product penetration and cross selling and actively seeks structured finance opportunities in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.
  • Develops account plans in a consistent and timely manner in order to swiftly follow-up on identified action items
  • Provides inputs and governmental demand insights to the team for loans which are commercially viable and also meet the required market demand.
  • Prepare and ensure quality and completeness of all CAs before sending it to Credit for CA Review.
  • Collaborates with the Credit Analytics Unit and Risk Management on an ongoing basis in order to constantly secure and enhance the quality of the credit portfolio.


Qualifications & experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with preferably a specialization in Finance or Accounting

Minimum Experience:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in the corporate banking
