Senior ROR Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services and applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design cohesive, functional code.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle – from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and overall application quality.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Ruby on Rails and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and MVC architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Sidekiq, and Active Record.
• Proficient understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React or Vue.js (a plus).
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and JSON.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker or other containerization tools.
• Knowledge of RSpec, Capybara, or other testing frameworks.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs195,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
