Senior Safety Inspection Engineer – Elevators & Escalators

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections, testing, and certifications for elevators, escalators, and moving walkways
• Ensure compliance with EIAC, Dubai Municipality (DM), and local safety standards
• Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports, technical documentation, and non-conformance reports
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities for approvals and corrective actions
• Support commissioning, testing, and re-certification activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in inspection of elevators and escalators
• Strong understanding of UAE regulations, EIAC requirements, and international safety codes
• Ability to pass EIAC assessment and maintain accreditation
• Willingness to undergo theoretical and practical assessments
• Strong communication skills and ability to write clear reports
• Evidence of the previous successfully pass EIAC assessment related to scope has advantage
