Job Title: Senior Safety Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Safety Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site safety, risk assessment, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of UAE experience in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Carry out risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Monitor work permits and ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
• Participate in client and consultant safety audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of UAE experience in construction projects.
• NEBOSH IGC Certification (Mandatory).
• Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety standards.
• Experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
