Senior Sales Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear product lines across the Central Region. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, forging strong client relationships, and contributing directly to the success of Saudi Arabia's most ambitious giga-projects. The ideal candidate is a technical sales professional with a proven track record in the construction and infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy and business plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for LV/MV switchgear product lines.
  • Identify and target new market segments and application opportunities to diversify the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
  • Conduct in-depth technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution-based workshops for clients, tailoring the message to address their specific project needs and challenges.
  • Lead technical negotiations and clarify all aspects of the proposal to ensure a seamless handover to the project execution team upon order win.
  • Lead tender clarification meetings with clients and internal kick-off meetings with engineering, supply chain, and pricing teams.
  • Resolve any commercial or technical issues that arise promptly, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
  • Serve as the crucial link between the customer and internal teams (Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Finance) throughout the sales and initial project phases.
  • Provide ongoing support to project teams for any commercial or technical clarifications required during execution.
  • Perform detailed competitor analysis on their products, pricing, market positioning, and strategies, providing structured reports to leadership.
  • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts within the company's CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience in technical sales and business development, specifically within the electrical manufacturing or distribution sector.
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully managing and winning large-scale tenders for giga-projects and major construction developments in Saudi Arabia.
  • Established and strong relationships with key contractors, EPC firms, consultants, and end-users in the Riyadh/Central Region market is essential.
  • Deep technical understanding of LV/MV switchgear, protection systems, and their applications within construction and infrastructure projects.
  • High proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
