Senior Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth of our software solutions and digital transformation products/services within industrial sectors (manufacturing, energy, utilities, automotive, logistics, etc.).

Work Location - Sharjah

This role bridges technical expertise and commercial strategy, supporting enterprise sales efforts by understanding client challenges, designing solution architectures, and articulating business value.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales & Solution Consulting

  • Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.

  • Engage with client stakeholders (C-level, Operations, IT, Engineering) to understand technical and business requirements.

  • Design and present tailored digital transformation solutions (IoT, Industry 4.0, cloud platforms, data analytics, automation, AI/ML, MES, ERP integrations).

  • Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.

Solution Architecture & Proposal Development

  • Develop high-level solution architectures aligned with client infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and implementation teams to build customized proposals.

  • Prepare RFP/RFI responses, technical documentation, and cost estimations.

  • Ensure proposed solutions meet security, compliance, and scalability requirements.

  • Client Relationship Management

    • Act as trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle.

    • Support negotiations by articulating ROI, TCO, and measurable business outcomes.

    • Maintain long-term relationships with industrial customers and technology partners.

    Market & Industry Expertise

    • Stay updated on industry trends (Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, IIoT, predictive maintenance, digital twins, cybersecurity).

    • Provide feedback to product teams based on customer insights.

    • Represent the company at trade shows, webinars, and industry events.

  • Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

    • 7+ years of experience in technical sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering within industrial or enterprise software environments.

    • Strong understanding of:

      • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

      • SaaS and enterprise software models

      • Data analytics, IoT, AI/ML applications

      • System integrations (ERP, MES, CRM)


    • Proven experience selling complex digital transformation solutions to industrial clients.

    • Ability to engage both technical and executive audiences

  • Preferred Skills

    • Experience with Industry 4.0 initiatives.

    • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards for industrial systems.

    • Familiarity with OT/IT convergence environments.

    • Strong presentation and storytelling skills.

    • Financial acumen (ROI modeling, business case development).
