Senior Sales Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Engineer to join our MEP Construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and securing MEP projects across commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure sectors. The role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and market awareness to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new MEP construction opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, architects, project managers, and end clients.
  • Generate leads through networking, market intelligence, industry events, and strategic prospecting.
  • Achieve annual and monthly sales targets and business growth objectives.
  • Prepare and execute sales plans to penetrate target markets and key accounts.
  • Conduct client presentations and technical sales meetings.

Tendering & Proposal Management

  • Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
  • Coordinate with estimation, engineering, procurement, and project teams for proposal preparation.
  • Prepare technical and commercial offers for MEP projects.
  • Ensure proposals comply with client requirements, technical standards, and company policies.
  • Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations, and bid submissions.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client requirements and propose optimal MEP solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during pre-award stages.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.

Technical Support

  • Provide technical guidance on HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, BMS, and other MEP systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop value-engineering solutions.
  • Assist clients in selecting cost-effective and technically compliant solutions.

Commercial & Contract Negotiation

  • Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations.
  • Analyze project risks, margins, and commercial terms.
  • Ensure profitable project acquisition while maintaining competitive pricing.
  • Support contract finalization and project handover to execution teams.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and upcoming projects.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective projects and clients.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for management.

Reporting & CRM

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
  • Update CRM systems and ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Salary: Salary will depend on experience.
