Senior Sales Engineer – HVAC Duct Factory | Abu Dhabi

Reports to: General Manager

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling HVAC ducting products and related services to contractors, consultants, MEP companies, and project owners. The role combines technical knowledge of duct manufacturing with sales and client relationship management to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and develop new business opportunities in HVAC, construction, and MEP sectors.

· Promote ducting products including GI ducts, pre-insulated ducts, fittings, dampers, accessories, and fabrication services.

· Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on project specifications and drawings.

· Review tender documents, BOQs, and HVAC layouts.

· Coordinate with estimation, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely project execution.

· Conduct site visits and meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.

· Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers.

· Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms.

· Follow up on quotations and pending orders.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and consultants.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.

· Ensure customer satisfaction and after-sales support.

· Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

· Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· 2–3 years of sales experience in HVAC duct manufacturing or HVAC products.

· Knowledge of HVAC systems, duct fabrication, and construction industry standards.

· Ability to read HVAC drawings and project specifications.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.

· Fluent in English and Arabic

· UAE driving license mandatory

Preferred Skills

· Knowledge of SMACNA and HVAC standards.

· Experience with MEP contractors and consultants in the UAE/GCC market.

· Strong technical and commercial understanding.

· Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

· Good networking and relationship-building skills.

· Collection and payment follow-up
