Job Profile

Senior Sales Executive – Export will manage and expand our export sales operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food exports, a proven sales track record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. You will identify business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Export Sales & Order Management:

  • Manage end-to-end export sales operations including inquiry handling, quotation, order confirmation, and shipment coordination.
  • Prepare export documentation in coordination with logistics and accounts departments.
  • Ensure all export orders are processed accurately and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents for smooth order execution.

2. Sales Target Achievement:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual export sales targets.
  • Identify new markets and potential clients to increase revenue and market share.
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing to ensure market competitiveness.

3. Team Engagement & Coordination:

  • Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure product availability and timely dispatch.
  • Support and guide junior sales team members or sales coordinators in export processes.
  • Maintain strong internal communication for seamless order execution.

4. Meetings & Reporting:

  • Participate in regular sales review meetings and present performance updates.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback summaries.
  • Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and product performance.

5. Market Expansion & Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with international buyers, distributors, and partners.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and business meetings.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with overseas customers.
  • Continuously explore opportunities to expand the company’s presence in new and existing export markets.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in export sales within the FMCG or food distribution industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client engagement and presentations.
  • Strong ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to support strategic decisions.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to build and sustain productive professional relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
