Senior Secondary Psychology Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons in accordance with the prescribed senior secondary curriculum (CBSE/ISC/State Board as applicable).
  • Teach core topics such as cognitive processes, development, learning, motivation, personality, and social psychology.
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans, case studies, activities, and assessments aligned with board examination requirements.
  • Evaluate students’ academic progress through tests, projects, practicals, and internal assessments.
  • Guide students in research work, projects, and exam preparation.
  • Foster critical thinking, ethical awareness, and application of psychological concepts in real-life contexts.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and documentation as per school guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic performance and student development.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, teacher trainings, school events, and academic meetings.
  • Adhere to school policies, academic standards, and child safety norms.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology (mandatory).
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3–6 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (preferred).
  • Experience with board exam preparation and evaluation is an added advantage.

  • Strong subject knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
  • Ability to engage senior students through discussions and practical applications.
  • Student-centric approach with mentoring skills.
  • Proficient in using digital tools and smart classroom technology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
