Senior SEO Specialist

Job Description: 

Optimize the websites to increase traffic and engagement. After initial assessment of current SEO 

performance, you'll provide positive user experience and appropriate content, to satisfy user queries. The 

overall purpose is to be able to generate more leads, gain clients and achieve more profit growth. 

Adhering to best practices and working to search engines' evolving algorithms, you'll use a variety of SEO 

tools and techniques, such as in-depth keyword research and analysis, to improve search engine rankings 

and drive visitors to clients' websites. 


Responsibilities: 

• Increasing organic and paid search traffic to websites and encouraging users to engage 

• Carry out keyword research and analysis to identify valuable search terms and trends  

• Employ, monitor and maintain keyword strategies (based on keyword research findings) to ensure 

optimal content ranking 

• Collaborate with team members over content optimization 

• Carry out a range of SEO activities to improve a website's performance, in accordance with the 

content strategy - using tools and optimization methods 

• Conduct competitor analysis and monitor competitors' SEO strategies 

• Look at KPIs (key performance indicators) such as organic traffic, search engine results page 

(SERP) rankings, brand vs non-brand keyword clicks and SEO leads 

• Conduct technical and on-page audits, checking for necessary URL structure changes, fixing 

broken links, correcting heading hierarchies, adding missing metadata, etc. 

• Employ user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization methods 

• monitor search engine algorithms to keep up to date with changes. 


Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field. 

• 2-5 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). 

• Experience in leading and managing SEO, digital metrics, and web traffic and analytics. 

• Have an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 

• Skilled at on-page and off-page optimization and keyword research and analysis. 

• Demonstrable knowledge of link building, content, and social media strategies.  

• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms. 

• Proven ability to perform SEO audits and successfully implement site optimization. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
