Our client, a leading Danish digital agency, is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to take full ownership of their clients’ organic growth strategies. The ideal candidate is a true SEO expert — analytical, data-driven, and passionate about optimizing performance across all aspects of SEO, from technical foundations to content and outreach.

This is a long term remote role for a highly experienced, self-motivated professional who can work independently and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies covering technical, on-page, and off-page optimization.
• Conduct in-depth site audits and implement actionable recommendations to improve rankings and performance.
• Optimize site structure, internal linking, and crawl efficiency.
• Perform advanced keyword research, competitor analysis, and content planning.
• Collaborate with developers and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all projects.
• Build and manage link-building and outreach campaigns.
• Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm changes, trends, and SEO best practices.

Must-Have Skills:

• 6+ years of proven SEO experience with demonstrable success in increasing organic traffic and rankings.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge (site speed, structured data, indexing, canonicalization, redirects, etc.).
• Expertise in on-page optimization and content strategy.
• Solid experience with off-page SEO, outreach, and link acquisition.
• Proficiency in tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (especially WordPress).
• Excellent English communication and reporting skills.
• Self-driven and able to manage SEO projects independently.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience working with international or multilingual websites.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for content creation and SEO automation.
