Job description
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the service process.
- Understand customer concerns, accurately translate them into technical requirements, and communicate them to technicians.
- Provide detailed service estimates and gain customer approval for jobs.
- Use strong dealing and negotiation skills to upsell additional services and maintenance packages.
- Maintain trust-based relationships with both new and returning clients.
- Monitor the service process and keep customers informed of progress, changes, or delays.
- Ensure all customer concerns are addressed and resolved professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate closely with the workshop and parts department to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare invoices, explain charges, and ensure complete transparency in all transactions.
- Follow up after service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior service advisors and team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience as a Service Advisor in a German car dealership or specialized service center.
- Proven customer dealing experience, including handling high-end clientele and resolving complaints.
- Strong knowledge of German automotive systems, service schedules, and diagnostic procedures.
- Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with dealership software (DMS) and CRM systems.
- Technical or mechanical background is preferred.
- Professional appearance and customer-first attitude.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
