Our primary sales channels include our dedicated Shopify store (eternalperfumeoils.com), Amazon, eBay, and social media platforms. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced developer to elevate our core digital storefront, ensuring peak performance, innovative functionality, and laying the groundwork for future-proof architecture.

Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Shopify Developer who can take ownership of our existing eternalperfumeoils.com store and lead its evolution. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Shopify theme development using Liquid, can handle complex integrations, and possesses the architectural knowledge necessary to lead a transition to a headless (Hydrogen/React/Next.js) setup in the long term.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Theme & Store Development ● Maintenance & Optimization: Take full responsibility for the performance, stability, and security of the existing eternalperfumeoils.com Shopify store.

● Custom Feature Development: Develop, test, and deploy custom features, functionalities, and sections using HTML, CSS (SCSS/Tailwind), JavaScript (ES6+), and Liquid.

● New Store Creation: Architect, design, and build new, high-performance Shopify stores from concept to launch, adhering to modern e-commerce best practices.

● API & App Integration: Integrate third-party applications (e.g., Klaviyo, subscription apps, review platforms) and leverage the Shopify Storefront and Admin APIs for custom data handling and synchronization.

Technical Leadership & Architecture

● Code Quality & Review: Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, conducting peer reviews and implementing best development practices (e.g., version control with Git).

● Performance: Proactively identify and resolve page speed and Core Web Vitals issues to maximize conversion rates.

● Future Planning (Headless): Research, prototype, and eventually lead the technical migration towards a headless commerce architecture (e.g., Shopify Hydrogen/Oxygen, Next.js, or similar frameworks) for superior customization, performance, and user experience.

Essential Qualifications

● Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a dedicated Shopify Developer (3+ years suggested for Senior).

● Core Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Shopify's theme architecture, including sections, snippets, templates, and settings.

● Liquid: Deep, demonstrable expertise in the Shopify Liquid templating language.

● Front-end Stack: Highly proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.

● E-commerce Knowledge: Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), UX best practices for e-commerce, and the Shopify ecosystem.

● APIs: Experience working with the Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs for custom integrations.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

● Headless Experience: Prior hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js, and an understanding of Shopify Hydrogen/Oxygen or similar headless setups.

● CI/CD: Experience with automated deployment workflows and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.

● AWS/Cloud: Familiarity with basic cloud infrastructure concepts (e.g., hosting, CDN) relevant to high-scale e-commerce.

● Agile: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
