Senior Sourcing Specialist (Civil Engineer)

Company: A US based construction management company, having back-office in Pakistan (Rawalpindi)

Position: Senior Sourcing Specialist

Required Education: BSC Civil Engineer (must have qualification)

Required Experience: 3-4 years of relevant solid experience.

Required Skills: This position requires a strong understanding of U.S. construction practices, codes, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Prebid sourcing, taking quotations as per project scope.
• Taking care of goals requirements in project (MBE, WBE, SDVOB etc.) at pre-bid stage.
• Analyze subcontractor and vendor proposals for completeness, competitiveness, and compliance with project documents.
• Maintain accurate records of bid communications, clarifications, and pricing.Negotiate pricing and terms for pre-bid proposals in alignment with project budget targets.
• Maintain and update the subcontractor/vendor database with relevant qualification documents, insurance, safety records, and certifications.
• Monitor market trends, trade capacity, and material pricing to advise on bid strategies and potential risks.
• Manage the prices data for future use.
• Find the new vendors and subcontractors.
