Job Title:
Senior Specialist, Procurement Operations
Core Accountabilities

Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle from contract award through execution, amendments, renewals, and close-out.

Draft, review, and administer procurement contracts, framework agreements, amendments and all of the contract types in line with approved templates and policies.

Ensure contractual terms align with procurement strategies, commercial objectives, and risk management requirements.

If Required, Monitor contract compliance, deliverables, milestones, and service level agreements (SLAs).

Maintain accurate and complete contract records within the contract management system.

If Required, support dispute resolution, claims management, and contract interpretation.

Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance requirements.

Work closely with Buyers, legal team , end users, suppliers and different stakeholders to get the contract done.

Regularly review, update, and enhance contract templates to reflect changes in legislation, organizational policies, risk appetite, and market best practices.
Experience
-
6-8 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain operations,within the UAE or GCC region.

Demonstrated experience managing or supporting procurement contracts in a government, semi-government, or large corporate environment in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.

Strong understanding of procurement policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Experience in maintaining and enhancing contract templates and standard terms and conditions.

Experience working with ERP and contract management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

Experience handling high-value or complex contracts is preferred.
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, Finance, or a related discipline.

Professional certifications are highly desirable, such as:

CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)

WorldCC (Contract & Commercial Management)
-
CPSM, CPP, or equivalent
