Senior Specialist Sourcing

JOB OBJECTIVE:


  • Manages end-to-end category sourcing needs for Operations and Maintenance (Inventory, Non-Inventory and Services). Assists in managing suppliers, leads pre-award sourcing process and post-award contract administration process. Assists in developing category and strategic sourcing plans


Description


  • Identifies, manages and develops suppliers for categories, pertaining to 0&M (Inventory, Non-Inventory and Services ), ensuring all supply related risks are mitigated.
  • Manages sourcing of multiple categories for company and its affiliate organizations.
  • Ensures compliance needs and expectations of decision-making personnel and committees are met.
  • Undertakes complex negotiations with suppliers and ensures value creation and cost saving targets are met.
  • Manages establishment of Agreements (One-time, Long-term, Framework and any other type).
  • Ensures increased Contract Coverage and reduced Requisition to Order turnaround time.
  • Manages administration of all agreements for multiple categories ensuring all parties meet full compliance and highest level of performance of the agreements.
  • Ensures all agreements are renegotiated and are maintained at most optimum market levels.
  • Manages internal and external stakeholders' expectations.
  • Supports in development of annual category plans and ensures plans are executed on time.
  • Supports in development of category intelligence via detailed reporting and analysis.
  • Leads development of reports and presentations.
  • Meets periodic reporting requirements set by Manager, Senior Manager and Vice President.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


A Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Technology discipline.
  • CIPS/CPPM or equivalent certification preferable.


Minimum Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Management
