Senior SQA Engineer - Onsite Islamabad

Must have experience of Product Based Company

Key Responsibilities:

• The candidate must have experience with some ERP or a Database intensive online applications/sites.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications
• Lead and own end-to-end testing activities including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and UAT testing
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect tracking tools
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is built into every phase of development
• Participate in requirements analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning to provide quality-focused input
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical leadership and best practices
• Continuously improve QA processes, testing strategies, and tools to enhance product quality and team efficiency
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, security guidelines, and release criteria

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles
• Strong experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
• Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
