Senior Staff Accountant

Position: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Karachi
Shift timings: 7pm-4am

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibility Center for the delegated processes, will be acting as a Process Owner for an individual process or a multiple.

Will be responsible for End-to-End Processes for the client entity/group/practice area.

May be required to work in a project team in multiple capacities for a variety of Projects in Finance & Accounting environment as well as IT/IS based environment.

Coordinate with Client’s onsite staff to resolve queries with a proactive approach.

Preparation of Management Deliverables for periodic intervals.

Business writing in a variety of related domains to furnish information to internal as well as external stakeholders.

Prepare Control Instruments and Log Sheets for the process review & control.

Education:
CA Finalist (ICAP/ICAEW)

ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/CIA/CMA Member/Affiliate

Undergrad Degree with Finance Majors from a Top Tier University

Experience:
2+ Years in Big 4 Accounting Firm in Assurance or Advisory

2+ Years in Industry at a Top Tier Organization

3+ Years in a Mid-Tier Accounting Firm in Assurance or Advisory

Language Requirements:
Fluent in English (Oral & Written) as well as proficiency in Business Writing

Technology Requirements:
Active Email & related tools usage

Advanced Level Microsoft Office Skills

Budgeting & Forecasting along with usage of popular analysis tool is a plus

Working knowledge of Quick Books or other Accounting Package will add value

Technical Requirements:
General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payables (MUST) and Receivables

Management & Financial Reporting,

AP/AR Processes,

Cash Flow Management and Reconciliation Function

Familiarity with US GAAP/GAAS/FASB will be an added advantage.

Salary: From Rs60,500.00 per month
