Senior Staff Accountant – QuickBooks & Payroll

Full-Time | In-Office | Omaha, NE

We’re hiring a Senior Staff Accountant to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting and payroll. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining accurate books, processing payroll, and keeping financial operations running clean and on time.

This is not a passive or review-only position—you will be directly responsible for the work.

What You’ll Own

• Full-cycle bookkeeping: AP, AR, invoicing, and expense tracking
• End-to-end payroll processing and accuracy
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintaining clean and accurate financials in QuickBooks
• Supporting monthly close and basic financial reporting
• Working within and helping support our ERP system (Odoo)

What You Must Have

• 3–6+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Required: Strong experience with QuickBooks (daily use)
• Proven experience processing payroll independently
• Solid understanding of reconciliations and core accounting principles
• Ability to work in-office in Omaha, NE

What This Role Is Not

• Not remote
• Not entry-level
• Not a “review-only” accounting role

Compensation

$55,000 – $70,000 depending on experience
