Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

VX Studio Consultancy is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our team for a site-based role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising structural works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all structural engineering activities on-site.
• Review structural drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings and project standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports.
• Resolve structural design and execution issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Review method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support when required.
• Monitor project progress and support timely project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in UAE projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, site supervision, and construction practices.
• Experience working on high-rise, commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and authority requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
