ICBC Turkey Bank is searching a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to be recruited in Technology Center under our Head Office building located in Maslak, Istanbul.. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Linux Based technologies, including Oracle Linux, Suse Linux, Redhat, etc... You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our system infrastructure, which supports business-critical applications.

Your responsibilities will include implementing best practices in solutions, incident management, and architectural improvements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring compliance with security and operational standards to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

This position will be:

• Carry out data center operations (maintenance, monitoring, installation, updates).
• Provide installation (OS, applications, agents, etc.) and maintenance services for server products.
• Ensure the installation and update of server operating systems and application versions.
• Manage automation processes.
• Perform necessary monitoring, problem management, and resolution activities to ensure the continuous operation of systems 24/7.
• Ensure the resolution of system issues raised by internal/external customers.
• Track the inventory of resources such as servers, switches, IPs to be used in the data center.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 5-7 years of professional experience as a Senior System Admin.
• Expert-level experience and knowledge in Linux operating systems (Suse, Oracle Linux, RedHat, Rocky, etc...).
• Experience with database installation (MySQL preferred), management, and SQL querying.
• Experience with virtualization (KVM/VMware).
• Experience with Linux distributions installation and configuration.
• Experience in SAN switch, storage, and server connections.
• Experience in working in large-scale and corporate environments (>250 servers).
• Preferably certified in System and Storage expertise.
• Active experience in Data Center (DC) projects.
• Experience with monitoring systems like Prometheus, Grafana is a plus.
• Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently

• Good command of the English language
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree at related engineering fields
