senior technical engineer ( wood works )

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Engineer specializing in wood works to join our growing team in the construction industry. This role involves leading projects from conceptual design to execution while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee wood works projects, ensuring accuracy in execution and adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret and execute design intentions effectively in wood materials.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to propose wood work solutions that address client needs.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, construction drawings, and cost estimates for wood work components.
• Manage a team of technicians and carpenters, providing guidance and mentorship throughout project phases.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure high-quality material sourcing and efficient project delivery.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement best practices and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in woodwork technologies and materials to enhance project outcomes.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical engineering with a focus on wood works in the construction sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing woodwork projects from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards regarding woodworks.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, or other design software related to woodwork plans and visualizations.
• Ability to perform detailed measurements and create precise technical documentation.
• Certifications in Project Management or relevant woodwork technologies are a plus.
