Senior Textile Sourcing & Procurement Specialist (Pure Linen / Flax)

We are seeking an experienced Textile Procurement & Buying Agent to lead factory-direct sourcing of 100% flax (pure linen) woven fabrics from verified manufacturing mills in Europe and Asia.

This role requires strong factory verification, technical textile knowledge, and price negotiation capability. The candidate will act strictly as a buyer’s representative, not a trader.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage verified linen manufacturing mills (not trading companies)

• Conduct or coordinate factory verification and audits

• Confirm fiber composition authenticity (100% flax linen)

• Manage sampling, testing, and quality validation

• Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, MOQ, payment terms)

• Coordinate production follow-up and pre-shipment inspections

• Provide structured sourcing and verification reports

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in textile procurement or buying (fabric-focused)

• Proven background sourcing woven fabrics (linen experience strongly preferred)

• Strong understanding of fiber composition, textile testing, and QC

• Hands-on experience negotiating FOB pricing and factory terms

• Ability to verify manufacturing facilities (directly or via third-party auditors)

• Familiarity with export documentation and supply chain workflows

• Excellent professional communication and reporting skills

• Must be based in or operating

• Long-term engagement based on performance
