Job Summary

We are looking for performance-oriented Senior / Trainee Territory Managers to manage assigned sales territories in Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Thatta, and Badin.

The role is responsible for achieving annual sales and profitability targets by effectively managing customer relationships, developing business opportunities, supervising Crop Protection Officers, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the assigned budget.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Target Achievement

  • Achieve assigned territory sales and profit targets.
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and penetrate new business opportunities by engaging dealers and customers.

Business Development & Demand Creation

  • Develop and implement geographically comprehensive prospecting plans targeting high-potential customers.
  • Conduct farmer meetings and provide field advisory services to generate demand.
  • Arrange corner meetings to promote products and accelerate inventory movement.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships to expand and sustain territory growth.

Territory Planning & Market Intelligence

  • Develop and maintain territory coverage plans with the designated team.
  • Maintain updated information on competitors, distributors, and market trends.
  • Monitor customer inventory levels and create demand to ensure stock movement.
  • Generate ideas to enhance territory performance and company profitability.

Team Supervision

  • Supervise and train Crop Protection Officers.
  • Provide guidance to improve product knowledge and selling effectiveness.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide regular reports to the Regional / Zonal Sales Manager regarding:
  • Sales performance
  • Customer inventory
  • Field developments
  • Market conditions
  • Coordinate with internal departments including Finance, Distribution, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and other support functions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture (Mandatory)

Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in the agrochemicals industry (for Senior Territory Manager).
  • Fresh or early-career candidates may be considered for Trainee Territory Manager role.
  • Proven ability to achieve territory sales targets preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong prospecting and territory development skills.
  • Working knowledge of agrochemical market segments within assigned territory.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
