Senor Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Ensure compliance with Qatar’s financial regulations and tax laws
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting (preferably in Qatar or the GCC)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Arabic nationality preferred
• Transferable visa/NOC is a must
