Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive qualified traffic and improve rankings for eCommerce websites.
- Perform keyword research tailored for product/category pages.
- Optimize on-page SEO (meta tags, titles, descriptions, schema, site speed, internal linking).
- Manage off-page SEO including backlink building, outreach, and partnerships.
- Conduct regular SEO audits and fix technical issues (crawl errors, duplicate content, broken links).
- Optimize product listings for better visibility in Google and shopping search engines.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to improve website performance.
- Track, analyze, and report SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools.
- Stay updated with Google Algorithm changes and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven 2–4 years of SEO experience (must include eCommerce websites).
- Strong understanding of Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom eCommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of technical SEO and structured data (schema).
- Familiarity with Google Ads & social media ads is a plus.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with international SEO (multi-language, multi-country).
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding.
