The role

We’re looking for an SEO Lead to own Bybit’s end-to-end SEO strategy across markets. You’ll set the vision, lead a small but high-impact team, and partner with Content, Product, Web, Brand, and Regional Marketing to drive measurable growth in non-paid traffic, sign-ups, and revenue.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the SEO strategy (technical, content, and off-page) for Bybit.com and key web properties across priority markets.
  • Define channel KPIs and build the operating cadence: monthly forecasts, dashboards, and post-mortems tied to clicks, impressions, ranking distribution, sign-ups and product activations.
  • Lead SEO roadmap & experiment backlog: IA improvements, internal linking, schema, Core Web Vitals, site performance, hreflang/internationalization, programmatic SEO, and SERP feature optimization.
  • Partner with Content & Regional teams to ship high-quality, compliant content at scale (learn & earn, product explainers, market education, glossary, landing pages).
  • Drive technical excellence with Engineering/Web: crawl budget, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, log-file insights, JS rendering, and A/B testing of on-page elements.
  • Grow authority via safe, scalable digital PR/links and partnerships; monitor competitive gaps and EEAT signals.
  • Enablement & leadership: mentor SEO specialists/writers, refine playbooks, and uplevel non-SEO partners on best practices.
  • Own vendor relationships and tooling; evaluate and negotiate as needed.
  • Compliance & risk: ensure content and tactics meet legal and regional guidelines for financial/crypto markets.


Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years in SEO with at least 2 years leading a team or cross-functional pod.
  • Proven results growing organic traffic and conversions at a global or multi-locale product company (ideally fintech/crypto, trading, or high-reg domains).
  • Deep technical SEO chops (CWV, rendering, international SEO, large-site architecture) and hands-on fluency with GA/Looker (or equivalent), GSC, log-file tools, and crawlers.
  • Strong content instincts and ability to brief, QA, and measure content at scale.
  • Comfortable in fast-moving, experiment-driven environments; crisp communicator who can influence product and exec stakeholders.
  • Programmatic SEO experience; SQL basics; experience launching in SEA, MENA, LATAM, and Europe (e.g., Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, UK) ; familiarity with compliance in financial content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese to be able to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
