About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Senior SEO Manager to lead our digital growth efforts in support of our mission. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in SEO strategy and leadership but is also passionate about contributing to a meaningful cause.
You will play a key role in enhancing the online visibility of our platforms by defining SEO strategy, optimizing digital assets, and ensuring strong performance across web and mobile platforms (including ASO), so that beneficial and authentic content reaches a wider audience effectively.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership
● Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals
● Define KPIs and track performance across all SEO initiatives
● Lead, mentor, and manage a team (SEO Executives, Analysts, Content Writers)
● Collaborate with product, development, design, and marketing teams
Technical & On-Page SEO
● Oversee technical SEO audits, site health, and Core Web Vitals optimization
● Ensure best practices for on-page SEO (keywords, metadata, schema, internal linking)
● Guide developers on technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexing, JavaScript SEO)
Maintain mobile-first and search engine compliance standards
Off-Page SEO & ASO
● Lead link-building, outreach, and digital PR strategies
● Monitor competitor activity and identify growth opportunities
● Oversee App Store Optimization (ASO) for improved app rankings and downloads
Content & Cross-Team Collaboration
● Ensure high-quality, SEO-driven content aligned with user intent
● Align SEO strategies with marketing campaigns and brand goals
● Maintain consistency in tone, quality, and performance across content
Analytics & Reporting
● Analyze performance using GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
● Convert data into actionable insights for leadership
● Continuously optimize strategy based on trends and algorithm updates
Required Skills & Experience
● 5+ years of proven experience in SEO (agency or in-house)
● Strong expertise in technical SEO, on-page & off-page optimization, and ASO
● Experience managing and mentoring SEO teams
● Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
● Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
● Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making
● Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Tools & Platforms
● SEO Tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog
● Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Looker Studio
● CMS: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow
● Content Tools: Surfer SEO, Clearscope (preferred)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Growth in organic traffic and conversions
● Improvement in keyword rankings (Top 3 / Top 10)
● Backlink profile strength and domain authority
● Technical SEO health & Core Web Vitals
● ASO performance (app visibility & downloads)
● ROI from organic channels
